Paid Summer Voter Registration Internship with TurnUp

TurnUp is hiring students for a paid summer voter registration internship opportunity with a $3,000 stipend.

TurnUp is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan, non-profit organization dedicated to increasing youth civic education, empowerment, and engagement. TurnUp was featured in Forbes as the 2022 standout non-profit organization.

Interns will perform 40 hours per week of work over the course of 10 weeks and will conduct high-traffic canvassing to register young people to vote. The application link is here and the deadline for the application is rolling.

The opportunity is fully remote, but students must be located in AZ, MI, MT, NV, OH, PA, or WI. Each intern will be responsible for locating and engaging with potential voters in high-traffic areas (malls, parks, transit stations, etc.), at local events (fairs, block parties, etc.), and registering them to vote. As part of the internship experience, interns will receive comprehensive education from experienced organizers on voter registration and engagement. TurnUp will also provide the physical materials and supervision necessary to conduct frequent and successful voter registration activities. All voter registration activities are non-partisan.

Please see the internship application here.

In addition to the $3,000 stipend, the internship is a great opportunity for resume and skill building. Since 2020, the program has successfully supported thousands of students in registering their peers to vote, allowing them to grow to become more capable and responsible citizens.
