Campaign for Liberty Scholarships

The Ron Paul Patriot ($10,000), Liberty ($5,000), and Freedom ($2,500) Scholarships are available to all liberty-minded undergraduate students and high school seniors who have been accepted for the Fall of 2014.
2014 Ron Paul Scholarships deadline and requirements:


Deadline


  • Deadline for all scholarship packages is March 10, 2014
  • Any application package received with a postmark later than March 10, 2014 will not be eligible
  • Recipients of the 2014 Ron Paul scholarships will be publicly announced May 19, 2014 (recipients will be notified via certified letter prior to May 19, 2014)
 Requirements
  • Current undergraduate freshmen, sophomores or juniors at an accredited college or university OR any high school senior who has been accepted and will be entering an accredited college or university in the Fall of 2014. 
  • 3.25 cumulative GPA
  • Official transcripts from your high school or university (unofficial transcripts will not be accepted)
  • Completed foundation application (http://www.campaignforlibertyfoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/2014_Scholarship_Application.pdf)
  • 2 letters of recommendation from a non-family member
  • 2 essays, one from section A and one from section B, not to exceed 500 words, double-spaced and in 12 point font (see below for official scholarship essay topics)
  • All scholarship packages should be sent in nothing smaller than a 9 x 12 envelope and we ask that you not staple any of the contents
  • Finalists will be asked to do a phone interview with a foundation employee.  If you are a finalist you will receive an email from the foundation to schedule the day and time of your interview
 2014 essay


Each applicant must submit two essays with their scholarship application package.  You are to choose one topic from section A and one topic from section B.  Those applicants who only submit one essay or submit two essays from the same section will be disqualified. Section A(Choose one)

  • Why is auditing the federal reserve important?
  • Why should millennials care about monetary policy?
  • Why is the internet sales tax bad for my generation?
 Section B(Choose one)
  • How I became involved in the liberty movement and what I can do to make a difference
  •  Explain the role the U.S. military should play in defending our country and world affairs
