Get to know your BSOS Dean’s Student Advisory Council (DSAC) representative!

Kevin Silverman is the DSAC representative for students in the GVPT major. Below is his biography. Feel free to contact him if you have any questions or suggestions for the Council about improving your educational and social experiences at the University of Maryland.

Hey, my name is Kevin Silverman, and I am the GVPT representative for the spring of 2014. I'm a double-degree seeking junior majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice & Government and Politics. On campus I try to be as involved as possible with Relay for Life, the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, intramural sports, and of course the Dean's Student Advisory Council. I recently studied abroad in Germany and I'm looking to now make an even greater impact at UMD than before. Feel free to contact me about any GVPT or collegiate concern at ksilverm@terpmail.umd.edu. Outside of BSOS I'm also big into concerts, astronomy, and soccer, and I'm always available to talk to about course recommendations or traveling.
