Dr. Adam Cox is the Acting Director of the Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA) since August 2013. He is responsible for ensuring that HSARPA programs provide new capabilities and operational efficiencies for Department of Homeland Security components and First Responders. He will be sharing his insights into current HSARPA strategies, research priorities and future plans. Areas of research and development include explosives detection, border and maritime security, cyber security, chemical and biological security, and infrastructure protection and resiliency.
