RESULTS Starting Chapter at UMD!

Do you want to be part of a movement to end poverty?
RESULTS is an international advocacy organization that works on promoting legislation and policies that can reduce and eventually end poverty. Here at Maryland, we will promote anti-poverty policies that relate to the issues of public health, education, and/or microfinance, along with raising awareness of poverty in our area and around the world. In addition to learning how to reach out to our local officials, we will put on several events throughout the year.

Joining RESULTS is a great way to learn about poverty, policy in action, and how to do community organizing. To learn more about RESULTS visit results.org. Questions? Contact Nyana Quashie or Evelyn Xu at resultsumd@gmail.com.
