Internship Opportunity - Dutch Ruppersberger for Congress


Dutch Ruppersberger for Congress is actively searching for College students interested in
serving as an intern in his Campaign Office during the Summer and Fall 2012.
An internship in the Campaign Office offers students a unique opportunity to be a part of
the political process during an exciting election year. Interns will have the opportunity to
gain experience in field operations, event planning, videography, and public relations.
Interns will playa vital role in the brainstonning, design, development and
implementation of a host of different projects.
 
Intern responsibilities will include tasks such as research, maintaining social media sites,
data management, assistance in organizing and staffing events, videoing, monitoring
media coverage and general administrative assistance.
 
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess strong communication skills, writing and research ability.
experience with social media willingness to work in a team environment, and an
interest in politics. Interns also need proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft
Word and Excel. Experience in campaigning or other political efforts is a plus but is not
required.
