Paid Microfinance Fellowship- Lend for America
With the right tools, college students can change the lives of their communities' low-income families and gain a broader social perspective. That's why we created Lend for America, a fellowship program that trains students who are seeking to start microfinance organizations (Campus MFIs) at their respective college campuses.

Fellows receive a crash course in microfinance, a full-time summer internship with an existing microfinance group, and year-round support from Lend for America as they start their organizations. The primary award of the Fellowship is a $2,500 stipend for the summer work component of the program. In addition, flight and hotel expenses are paid for fellows to attend the kick-off training and to travel to their host organization.
Fellows are selected based on leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, and prior work completed on starting a Campus MFI.
Prospective fellows must submit an online application at www.lendforamerica.org/fellowship by March 10.
