Fall/Winter 2013 Administrative Assistant Internship – State of Maryland, Office of the Lt. Governor

The Office of Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown is seeking an Administrative Assistant for approximately 20-24 hours per week for the Fall and Winter of 2013. This internship will
provide the selected applicant a first time experience with public policy and government

The Administrative Assistant will assist the Lt. Governor’s staff with entry level assignments
including:

• Administrative support,
• Data entry,
• Drafting correspondence, and
• Research.

This position will provide the selected applicant an opportunity to take on additional roles and responsibilities based on their performance and growth over the course of the internship.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be pursuing an undergraduate degree in public policy, political science, or a related field of study. This is an unpaid internship.
