"Breakfast with Brem" Volunteer Opportunity

“Breakfast with Brem” is an event hosted by Senator Joanne Claybon Benson, Delegate Joseline Peña-Melnyk, The Honorable Ingrid M. Turner, Esquire District 4, and Mary A. Lehman, Council Member District 1. The event is aimed at promoting breast health awareness and education for the women and men in the Prince George’s County community.

We are looking for student volunteers to help with registration, food/beverage, hosting, setup and breakdown.

Founded in 2005, Brem Foundation to Defeat Breast Cancer is a 501(c)(3) charity, that serves the people in the DC Metropolitan area and the nation. Brem Foundation’s goal is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. The Foundation’s mission is to advance exemplary practices for the ultimate in patient care through early diagnosis, education, research, and community outreach. We support the work of Dr. Rachel Brem, Director of Breast Imaging at George Washington University Medical Center and lead researcher in many early detection technologies. The Foundation also host numerous educational gatherings throughout the DC Metropolitan area where Dr. Brem speaks about the latest research, emphasizes the need for early detection and shares general information for achieving optimum breast health.
