Community Pipeline is a new UMD initiative to connect and share resources with local Prince George's County Public Schools.
The Pipeline helps any group of UMD students get involved in mentoring at a local school. Groups organize and lead a short-term afterschool program on whatever topic they are already passionate about!
We provide student groups with:
-Chartered transportation to the school (courtesy of DOTS)
-Chartered transportation to the school (courtesy of DOTS)
-Lesson Plan creation assistance (courtesy of the College of Education)
- On-campus Background Checks
-All correspondence and set-up
- Staff on-site during each day of programs
-Stipends to pay for any program materials Come and learn more! ALL ARE WELCOME to our first GBM of the semester!- Sunday October 5th at 7pm - Stamp's Terrapin Room C- There will be food!
