Position Type:  Internship (Fall or Spring Part-Time)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia (United States)
Description:   The American Land Title Association (ALTA) is seeking an intern to assist with international development initiatives related to the association. This international development intern will work with staff in Washington, DC, as well as remote ALTA employees, on a variety of projects including content creation for the ALTA international library on real estate transactions, assist in developing partnership on international projects with other trade associations, research, drafting talking points on international relations, administrative task as assigned and much more.
 
Responsibilities:
•  Assist staff with website management and content updates for the ALTA International Real Estate Transactions Library
• Research current international real estate/land title issues
• Draft and edit talking points on international relations
• Assist with the development of trade association partnerships on international real estate issues
• Prep Political Action Committee (PAC) mailings
• Sort & analyze PAC invitations for events in DC and around the country
•  Filing, organization and data entry as needed
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorm sessions
•  Assist ALTA staff as necessary

Desired Class Level(s): Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Masters Candidate, Recent Grad (up to 1 year out)
Duration: Spring Semester
Approximate Hours Per Week: 30
Salary Level:  10.00

Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Pursuing BS/BA in political science, international relations, government affairs or similar.
