Join the University Career Center & The President's Promise on a Career Shuttle to a Capitol Hill Hearing and debriefing!
This visit is open to all UMD students, but students interested in Environmental Policy, Science Policy, or policy in general, are particularly encouraged to attend. We will watch a hearing and receive a debriefing from a UMD alum who is a Professional Staff Member on the Subcommittee on Environment. Additional information will also be shared about career paths and tips on landing a job on the Hill. Lunch is on your own, but a cafeteria is nearby.
