The Black Political Student Association will be showing a free screening of the movie “Dear White People”. We hope that this movie will ignite productive dialogue of race at the University of Maryland. This movie is about the not so widely discussed experiences of African American students attending college. It is important to talk about the issues within this movie amongst a diverse crowd as differences in race, culture, and experiences make our organizations, campuses, and perspectives more inclusive and understanding.
