House of Representatives Judiciary Committee Spring Internship

House of Representatives Judiciary Committee
Spring 2017 Internships
Deadline to Apply: October 12

The Committee on the Judiciary's internship program offers both undergraduate and law students an opportunity to experience the operations of a congressional committee firsthand and learn about the important role that House committees in the House of Representatives play in the legislative process. The Committee on the Judiciary has jurisdiction over a wide range of legislative and oversight issues which include constitutional amendments, litigation reform, patent and trademark law, federal criminal law, federal civil rights law, anti-terrorism, immigration and naturalization, and antitrust. Interns are generally placed - based on their areas of interest and experience - with the Full Committee or one of the five subcommittees.
