Register for UNIV100Q Today!
As we approach the new semester, our staff at the LGBT Equity Center would like to make sure you know about this great opportunity for any first-year students (or if you know an incoming student!). UNIV100Q is a 1-credit "Introduction to the University" course that taught in the fall. This class is the cornerstone for The One Project, a first-year experience program for students who identify as LGBTQIA+. UNIV100Q is a safe space that aims to support you in your transition to UMD, reviewing different campus resources and introducing you to all that Maryland has to offer.
We would love for you to sign up for this class - it's going to be a lot of fun, and is a great way to connect with other LGBTQIA+ and allied students. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at lgbt@umd.edu if you have any questions about the class, how to adjust your schedule (it's easy to drop and add classes on Testudo!), or anything that's on your mind leading up to the beginning of the semester.
