Volunteer Opportunity with Lauren Lipscomb for District 10 Delegate, with Stipend

Lauren Lipscomb is running for the Delegate seat in District 10. Lauren has worked within the legal system for over 15 years and has most recently served as the Division Chief of the Conviction Integrity Unit for the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City. Located in Baltimore County, District 10 includes Reisterstown, Randallstown, Milford Mills, and parts of Owings Mills and Woodlawn.

The ideal applicant will have an interest in campaign finance, canvasing, donor research, and phone banks. The fellow who fills this position should expect to learn the subject area from top to bottom and will complete this program ready to enter any campaign. It is essential that applicants to this position have excellent communication and basic mathematical skills, demonstrate creativity, and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details. Schedule is flexible and the successful candidate will be offered a stipend.  


Responsibilities

  • Staff call-time
  • Knock on doors
  • Elected official, constituent and community outreach
  • Attend meetings and events
  • Track local and congressional races

Requirements
  • Must be a current student in good academic standing Must own personal laptop computer Must have their own personal transportation
  • Ability to work part-time
