Volunteer Opportunity with the Pete Fosselman for Montgomery County Council Campaign

The Pete Fosselman for Montgomery County Council District 1 campaign is looking for volunteers to join our grassroots campaign!

Students and recent grads are welcome to apply.

We are seeking individuals with a desire to learn more about our democratic process at the local level.

No previous political experience is needed.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Serve as a critical and valued member of the field operations team
• Support with essential campaign efforts such as phone banking, door-to-door canvassing and volunteer recruitment
• Help organize campaign events and various activities around Montgomery County.
• Work in conjunction with campaign team when necessary to staff campaign events & neighborhood parties
• Assist campaign team with distribution of campaign materials (flyers, yard signs, palm cards, etc.) as needed at various events and programs

Knowledge & Skills: 

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint
• Organized and quick learner
• Integrity within a professional environment Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask independently and demonstrate sound judgment
• Strong attention to detail and timing as well as excellence in execution
• Proven organizational, research and analytical skills
• Ability to reflect and demonstrate integrity, customer-centered, accountability, respect and excellence
