Research Opportunity at CAPC

Looking for research experience?  The chance to work independently and collaboratively for course credit?

The Center for American Politics and Citizenship, a research center that operates out of the Government and Politics Department is looking for smart, highly motivated, and dedicated students to join the Center as Research Assistants in the Fall 2016 Semester. Students will support the research of one member of the CAPC Faculty while also being trained in research methods, data collection, and presentation skills. RAs may also support Center activities such as event planning and outreach to the broader campus and beyond.

All RAs receive credit based on the number of hours they work weekly. All class years are accepted and students do NOT have to be GVPT majors to apply.

The deadline to submit an application is August 22nd, 2016.

Please email Christian Hosam, CAPC Coordinator, at chosam@umd.edu with any questions.

The application can be found at  http://go.umd.edu/capcapplication
