Join the University Career Center & The President's Promise on a Career Shuttle to Chemonics, DC! This trip is open to all UMD students, but will be of particular interest to Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors interested in exploring career paths in global or foreign affairs. Student with foreign language skills are also encouraged to attend.
Chemonics International has over 35 years in the international development field. We pride ourselves on being an industry leader and employer of choice for individuals interested in international development work. The session will provide an overview of our work, information on the Entry-Level Professional program, working as a consultant, and how one can join our team. Students will also have a chance to ask questions of UMD alumni who are currently employed by Chemonics.
  • Business professional attire is encouraged
  • All participants must present an official photo ID. 

Space is limited - please RSVP today and reserve 1:00-5:00 p.m. for the site visit. 

Once you have RSVP'd and received a confirmation email, please plan to meet in the University Career Center & The President's Promise (3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing) at 1:00 p.m. We will depart promptly by bus and return to campus by 5:15 p.m. You will be asked to sign a waiver prior to departure and you must be 18 years or older to consent.
*Once we reach capacity, you will have the opportunity to register for the wait list. Students on the wait list will be emailed on 10-10-2016 and slots will be filled with whoever confirms first.
