Two GVPT faculty members with the Center for American Politics and Citizenship, Dr. Paul Herrnson (Director) and Dr. Stella Rouse (Research Fellow) have been selected to supervise students next fall under the BSOS Emerging Scholars Program. This is an opportunity for a student to work with a faculty member for a semester on a research project and earn a $1,500 stipend. The selected students will work 10-12 hours/week for the fall 2012 semester.

Qualified students should be BSOS majors (GVPT preferably), have a 3.5 GPA minimum, and have earned between 30 and 60 credit hours by the start of fall 2012. Interested candidates should submit their resume and unofficial transcript to Mike Charlebois at mcharleb@umd.edu.
