Lobbying Internships

Internships in this field are focused on influencing policy on the national or state level. Interns will have the opportunity to research, analyze, and advocate for specific policy changes to the federal or state governments. Those interested can choose from a variety of firms that specialize in many areas, including equality, the environment, and technology.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (Lobbying)

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee is a lobbying group that advocates pro-Israel policies to Congress and the Executive branch.

Americans for Tax Reform (Advocacy, Lobbying)

Founded at the request of President Reagan, Americans for Tax Reform pushes for simpler, flatter and lower taxes than today. They promote the Taxpayer Protection Pledge at the state level to ask state legislature candidates to oppose any raises in taxes.

The DC Legislative and Regulatory Service is a bipartisan lobbying firm that specializes in a variety of areas, including the environment, climate, labor, immigration, water, infrastructure and transportation, international business development, and small business.
